As for me...I got a vintage-look clutch (luckily my cousin saw my post about "My Christmas Wish List". She didn't get me the Stella McCartney's, but Topshop's one is good enough for me).....hmmm, maybe next time I should write down the link also. Aha! My hubby got himself a retro look clock (which I want one for myself!).

Goodie! Goodie! I think my kids got the most Christmas gifts this year. Mikka got himself a drumpad (which he still affraid to play with...), his forever favourite : a Thomas and Friends pop-up book, a bath set from The Body Shop, truck toys set, a keyboard. And Kimmi got himself : lots lots of clothes, shoes, and wrist rattle toys. Hooray!

the celebration
Oh wow, I've been in Christmas celebration marathon these few days. Finally got myself together again, after those exhausted and super fun events. One of my favourite was the one at my aunt's place. We made an Award Night (something like grammy award thingy). My big brother, who always been the 'brain' for family's event, he prepared some trophies for the winners. Some of the categories are : most favourite family picture, best academic achievement, best non-academic achievement. We got the 3rd place for Most Favourite Family Picture. Yeay!.
We ended the night at 2 am....great Christmas! (always....)

baby bols christmas
Remember my last post about christmas goodie bags? The event finally is here! In our house! We had so much fun last weekend, especially the kids. Mikka (my eldest) was so excited, that he forgot to drink his milk (he always remember his 'milk' schedule) and was showing everybody his favourite toys :)) We seldom have so many people come by to our house after the birth of Kimmi (my youngest).
Everybody had a blast, and lots lots of gifts. Thanks to Asti for the Bandulan Tea. My new favourite drink.Great food. We had mixed culture food...from lasagna to klapertaart to nasi bogana. Goodie! Such a great time to share the Christmas Spirit!

I've been a very good mother to my kids and a dedicated wife all these years. I've never asked anything for Christmas, until now. Here's my wish list :
1. A Vivienne Westwood Gold Label dress ( I love the asymmetric shape of it, it could hide my big tummy after giving birth to my lovely boys :p)
2. A Jimmy Choo patent leather high heels, size 9,please :))
3. A Giles and Brother multi chain bracelet
4. And....a Stella McCartney studded clutch
Thank you. Send my regards to Mrs. Santa :)
Love,
Tiffin

bags of Christmas goodie
Me and my BFFs, we called ourselves as the Hippies Bols since junior high. Now that we're moms and dads, we still do hangouts and sometimes playdates with all of our kids. Every Christmas we will make Baby Bols X'mas. Well, we just started it last year actually, but it seems is a great idea to do it annually. This year we are going to make it extra special, since last September the group just got new member. My 3 months baby boy, Kimmi. Yeay!
I was thinking on making goddie bags to members of Baby Bols. Found this foam art pieces from the book store and supplies near our house. Instead using the ever classic red and green for Christmas, I'm using light blue and white color to get that winter wonderland theme. The snowflake ornaments was found when I was cleaning up my closet couple days ago. I sprayed them in white paint. Here's how to make them.
You'll need : foam art ,sewing needle and thread, satin ribbon, snowflake ornament
Cut the foam art in the size of goodie bag you desire. I cut mine a bit bigger than A5 size. Round cut the edge as picture shown. Also prepare a part for the handle of the bag.
Sew the handle near the edge of front side of the bag. Do the same thing with the back side, but sew it the opposite edge from the front side (does this sentence make sense?I hope it does)
Once it's done, sew the 2 sides together. I just use the normal stitch. Simple and easy.
Tie the ribbon to the ornament and tie it to the handle of the bag.
Tadaaaaa....! All you have to do just add the sweets and chocolate bars. Yum!
You can use the bag for the other stuff too... :)
Another version of it, I made a small pocket for anything-small stuff. I did a snowflake cut-out stencil and sprayed the whole pocket white. After the paint dried, take out the stencil... Voila!
Happy Holiday!

christmas wrap
Christmas is coming soon! The reason why I loooooooooovvveeeeeee December so much!
Every year, my big family always have tradition of doing cross-cadue thingy. It's the moment that everybody looking forwad to. Beside shopping for the gifts, what I love the most is doing the gift wrapping. It sound silly to some, but I like doing research for gift wrapping. Hah!
This time I decided to shop some of the gifts online (I bought from www.cottonink-shop.com and www.dreamesh.blogspot.com), they have very interesting products which i think would be great ideas for gifts during this time of the year. More to that, I browsed thru dreamesh's blog and found the unique gift wrapping by using left-over cotton and pin.The concept was to fold the garment into an envelope shape. Of course I added up my own creation to give that "adorable-factor" to it.
I think my little cousin going to love it. She's into girlie stuff. Can't hardly wait for big family Christmas celebration :))

sale hunter
Aaaah it's been a while since I got a chance to go to a mall for sale-items hunting. I really like the idea of Midnight Sale these days. It makes moms and dads with young babies to go out and do retail therapy guilt-free, we can leave our kids at home as they already asleep. Don't you agree? :)
I didn't shop as much as my husband. Since he only shop once a year to buy his shirts with that-not-so-cheap price tag. To him is the moment where he could get 1 price for 2 items.
Since I didn't have any specific needs, I browsed casually thru the dept. store. I found these 2 items which I think it's cute. It's a simple shoulder bag and a sandal. The best part was, I only pay for Rp. 299.000,- for these 2. Love it!

sewing project
Being a full time housewife and mom, gotta say...sometimes it gets boring with the same schedule and routines. Since I'm always been active before my kids are here, I tried to occupied my self with some sewing projects. Well, between my busy schedule breastfeeding the youngest and playing those silly games with my eldest (love it!), so far I only get myself to produce 2 items. It's a slim pouch and my blackberry case. By using felt as an insider, left-over cottons, and patent leather (sent from a friend Bandung earlier this month). To make it more appealing, I created an animal shape application. Inspired from my kids' bed sheet :)

My blackberry pouch
A friend of mine saw the creations, she asked whether I could make her a case for her notebook. Hah! I was thinking of making one for myself actually. And more to that, my sister-in-law was asking the same thing. Yeay! Great respond....sure, why not? :))

thanksgiving++
I know...I know Thanksgiving is already past. But the trip was great, I thought sharing it would be a fun thing. Me and my besties (we've been best of friends for more than 15 years, and still going strong), we went to one of our friend's villa in Cisarua and stayed there for 1 night with our kids and husbands.
It was great! Since junior high we sometimes stayed there for a short trip holiday, enjoy the rice field, jerk around in the small river, having the best food of gurame goreng, sayur asem, and pete goreng....and now we can bring our children to enjoy them too. Hoping they'll have fun as we did.
I even bring my almost-2months-baby Kimmi ;)
Olo!
Finally, after days of finding the easiest blog....I must say this one is trully do-able by my so-called not-into-gadget mind. Being housewife and a full time mom, gotta say that having a blog probably one of my ways to catch-up updates and getting connected ...errr, now I sound like an advertisement for some providers.
Thanks to my hubby for the new 10' notebook he gave me couple days a go. The early Christmas present. Yeay! Ooooow....and it's December too, my favourite month of the year. I am so going post my favourite stuff and findings.
